Yacht Design Studio

  • The Italian studio specializes in full-service exterior and interior design of yachts, aircraft and buildings. It develops and optimizes designs for the production of fiberglass or metal alloy units. We involve the client during the design process, defining the desired experience aboard their ideal yacht. Next, we sketch out the main features of the layout and define the initial exterior shapes. Staying in communication with the client, we create a detailed exterior sketch, using our more than 20 years of knowledge to create the perfect design. The next step is to develop photorealistic images Once the overall design is completed, we follow the shipyard

  • Conceptual interior design: moodboards, coherent style, functional distribution
  • Replication of a uniform, coordinated style across all interior spaces in the project

Visual Artist

  • The visual artist service provides a realistic and detailed representation of the yacht's design and features. Every element can be visualized, from the interior and exterior layouts to the furnishings and materials chosen. With 3D rendering, the yacht can be explored from different angles and in various lighting conditions, making it easier to understand the final design and improving communication between designers, builders and clients. Ideal for professional presentations, this tool transforms concepts and designs into realistic and engaging images, supporting more informed decisions and a clear and effective presentation.

2D Drawing

  • General layout drawings (GA), floor plans, sections, and architectural elevations
  • Furnished and distributive floor plans for residential, commercial, or marine interiors
  • Technical sheets with dimensions and specifications for production or shipyard use
  • Technical drawings for cutting, assembly, and structural installation
  • Executable drawings for technical rooms, compartmentalization and interior setups
  • Detail drawings for CNC works, laser cutting, and milling
  • Layouts of fixed and mobile furniture integrated into technical or habitable spaces
  • Detailed drawings for custom furniture and personalized solutions
  • Construction details: paneling, ceilings, floors, wall finishes
  • Checking interference among systems, structures, and furniture
  • Verification and optimization of technical spaces in terms of accessibility and maintenance

Yacht Engineering

Yacht engineering overview

  • Our production files are based on detailed and updated "as built" 3D models. The first step is to create an accurate surface model of the yacht. We can build it from scratch using the lines plan and general construction drawing, or we can refine an existing model developed during the concept phase. Once completed, the surface model is converted into a solid model, with all surfaces given their actual thicknesses.
  • Modeling of assemblable systems: joints, flanges, connections, fixing points
  • Design with tolerances and functional clearances
  • Compatibility analysis between parts in closed or complex structures
  • Preparation of models divided into components for CNC machining, laser cutting, or molds
  • Geometric verification for manual or industrial assemblies
  • Models with geometries compatible with milling, thermoforming, resin casting, or molding
  • Optimization of meshes or solids for CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing)
  • Conversion and cleanup of mesh models into CAD friendly surfaces (NURBS)
  • Simplification or adaptation of models for rapid production cycles

Yacht Refitting

Yacht refitting overview
  • Refitting is a process of renewal and transformation that allows an existing yacht to be updated, improved, or customized. We handle interior modifications, system upgrades, space optimization, material replacement, and aesthetic restyling, always respecting the original structure of the yacht. Thanks to precise surveys and 3D modelling, we can study each intervention in detail and propose tailor-made solutions, enhancing comfort, functionality, and the overall value of the yacht.

Custom Furniture

custom-furniture overview

  • We develop detailed construction drawings and executive projects that transform the conceptual design into precise and functional solutions. We use advanced design techniques and high-quality materials to create durable and resistant furniture, perfect for navigation conditions, without compromising style and comfort.

Product Engeniering

product-engeniering

  • 3D modeling of technical, structural, or mechanical components
  • Creation of 3D models with real thicknesses and geometries suitable for production
  • Modeling of parts in steel, fiberglass, aluminum, or composite materials
  • Design including draft angles and extraction angles for molds or molding
  • Components designed to be printed, cut, or mass produced

Mesh to Nurbs

meshtonurbs

  • Converting a mesh to NURBS involves using specific commands in 3D modeling software, such as `MeshToNURB` in Rhino or a multi-step process in programs like {Link: AutoCAD} or 3ds Max. Some methods create a NURBS surface for each mesh face, while others use different approaches like extracting points or curves to build a new surface.
